4.0.215 Jan 2nd 2006 Initial release
4.1.260 May 1st 2006 Version 4.1 Released
New Features:
- Access Control for WhosOn Clients.
You can now specify access rights for WhosOn Clients. This is done via the Site Group settings. You can control what options the client can see and if they can edit site properties. See the new 'Client Access' tab on the site group properties form. Requires both the latest server & client. See: http://www.whoson.com/help/Site_Groups.htm

- Links sent to the Chat Client now automatically open without the need for the visitor to click the link.
- Chat sessions are now closed immediately even if a visitor just closes their browser instead of clicking the Close button.
- Updated AJAX components in chat client results in faster load time.
- Added 'Manual Links' tab to site properties allowing easy creation of manual chat links.
- Added 'Auto Email Chat Transcripts' option to site properties. WhosOn can now automatically send an email to the site admin of all chat transcripts.
- If a WhosOn client closes a chat session with a visitor the 'waiting timer' is no longer incremented when the chat session is saved to the database. The waiting time reflects only the initial wait before the first operator answers.

4.1.265 May 5th Custom Invites!
We have added custom text based invites. You can now send a visitor a custom message that will appear on their browser as a moving text box. The visitor can click the box to start a chat session. You can customise the text border graphic. You must update both the server and any remote clients. No code changes are required for the embedded code. Existing graphic invites and click fraud warnings can be sent as normal.

To Send a text invite, right-click a current visitor in the WhosOn Client and select 'Send Text Invite'. Then enter your message and click send. WhosOn will then create a graphic file by combining the text and the invite border and serve this up to the visitor via the WhosOn Gateway.

- Fixed firefox issue with the chat window not showing the input box correctly.

4.1.285 June 30th Chat sessions now support UNICODE.  Full support for all Unicode character sets (Greek, Russian etc) in chat sessions and opening/closing messages.
WhosOn Client text strings used throughout the program can now be localised into different languages. Run the 'editdd.exe' in the WhosOnV4 folder to edit the strings.
4.1.290 July 8th You can now click on the summary headings on the 'Today' page in the WhosOn Client to view the visitor lists for that heading. Eg: Click 'New Visitors' to view a list of new visitors for today.
The Visit lists in the Client now include a 'Save' button to export the lists to CSV or HTML.
The Visit lists in the Client now include an 'Email' button to send the list as a HTML attachment via Outlook.

The filter condition is sent to the WhosOn server which then filters the current visitor list before sending it to the client. Each client can have its own filter condition for each monitored site. WhosOn still tracks visitors as normal - the filter only affects what is displayed in the client current visitors view. Note: Both the WhosOn server and any WhosOn Clients need updating.
